When I became conscious, I found myself in the wilderness there were so many trees, it was as if I was left there to die. I was still weak and I felt pain all over my body, I tried getting up but I was too weak to drag myself. My body couldn’t take it anymore and I started feeling dizzy with my vision getting blurry once again. I tried balancing myself with a tree but my body couldn’t take the pressure anymore, I fell on the ground and blacked out. When I became conscious this time, I realized that I have been lying there a long time and this time I had little strength and I could drag myself up. The whole weekend, Charlotte did not get out of the bedroom. I tried knocking on her door and she wouldn’t open the door, so I decided to let her be. Monday morning, I was still sleeping in one of the guest rooms. I woke up to the alarm on my phone and still having a million questions about everything I saw Friday night. I had no time to just sit on my bed and think so I decided to get out of bed and headed to the shower. After taking a quick shower, I realized that Charlotte didn’t even bother to wash my uniform or even try to help me get ready as she usually does. I just put on my normal jeans and sneakers with a black sweater. I kept on running for a distance but I couldn’t outrun the darkness, I then got at a certain corner where I got tripped and fell into a very deep well. The next morning…I opened my eyes in one of Cindy’s spare bedrooms, because the previous night I had refused to sleep in the same bedroom with her. Of course, she was disappointed but I had to sleep in a separate bedroom that night. On the other hand, I’ve been avoiding Charlotte’s phone calls and texts throughout the night.
