Chapter 11 Settled

The werewolves saying they have to hurry, really meant it to be hurried. They ride at full speed all night without stopping. Erra and Narrah held tight for their precious lives as the beasts speed away, hooves thundering the ground. Narrah and Erra got settled and both took a nap. Exhaustion and several nights of lack of sleep won. It's already dark when Erra woke up. Narrah was still asleep so she slowly get up and arranged the blanket around the girl. She carefully went out and found Dr. Blith with a young man inside his clinic."Pardon us, doctor, we slept the day away" Erra apologize with an embarrassed smile."No worries. He has fully healed" the doctor interrupted. "Her medicine burns like hell but it's effective" Caleb boasted with a smile. "Thank you for treating my wound, Erra, it helped a lot" Caleb added when Erra remained silent.

Chapter 13 Another Gift

Just like what Celeste ordered, the next day, Narrah and Erra find their way towards the packhouse before the sun rises to light the sky.There are few people they passed by who gave them curious gazes. "Tell me..." Narrah muttered grimly, wiping the wetness on her face. Erra just continue to stare at her in silence, making the girl angrier. Narrah continue to stare at the eyes directed to her. Her brows furrowed when she realized the beast's eyes were on her.
