That night, for the first time in many years, a blood moon appeared in the sky. A red hue falls over the lands as if a scarlet blanket has covered all. The snow reflects the red shade, twinkling like rubies.Leo is staring at the sky, feeling apprehensive. He is not sure what is going to happen but the appearance of the full moon all of a sudden is making him anxious. Is Dmitri going to turn? A loud siren rings through the streets of Sloria, waking up the citizens who remained. The siren rings in three short intervals before ringing continuously for a minute, signaling the impending invasion.Roseanne also hears the siren and wakes up in shock. The soldiers of Sloria line up in front of the castle. Every one of them is wearing white armor which are the same color as the snow while their armbands have Dmtri’s emblem on them. The emblem is a silver wolf standing on hind legs holding a pair of blue roses. Each soldier is holding a weapon and a strong armor made of iron and steel. They are all on their feet, standing in neat lines. Leo is at the front followed by Timur, Polina and then Aryan who are at the front of each of their squads. Men and women are mixed with the fighters, a major portion of them being volunteers mingled with the soldiers.  Dmitri is on the ground with Leo, looking at all his men. They have gathered over eight hundred men but knowing the nexus between Eduard and the Undead, the army is not enough. “The Undead will destroy us all in a battle,” Leo mutters. Blood spurts out of his body and he falls to the ground, crawling but Leo is not done. Taurus tries to transform but his body has lost so much blood that his wolf also became too weak to shift. “OUT OF MY WAY!” Iriana yells at the soldiers who are crowding near the camp. They have set up a large medical camp outside the city walls where many of the injured soldiers have been brought in. Several more are going to arrive in a while and Iriana is hard at work along with the palace ladies and omegas who have chosen to stay back to help.“Lady Iriana, this man is losing too much blood!” An omega exclaims. “Press on the wound and tell a fae soldier to help in controlling the blood flow!” Iriana instructs. “As for the spilt blood, give it to that vampire soldier to drink up!”The omega nods and goes on to carry on the instructions.
