      The sun's beam raises humidity. The village slowly gains life, hustling in their own patch of land while Selena is still bundled in Zaden's duvet. He smiled at the view before changing his dress and going out for his usual run. Taking her own sweet time, Selena woke up and dragged her heavy feet to her room, took a bath, and got ready as usual.        She learned during breakfast that there will be a meeting in the communal room and her attendance is made compulsory. Makeala seemed very nice and informative, willing to help the newcomer.        Zaden was pacing left and right in front of Grandpa Kai who has settled comfortably on a couch “I’m telling you. Thank god, I send the others away.          Vigilance is the game plan today. To avoid being dumped into the bathtub again, Selena woke up early. In order to make the day much smoother and possibly laced with a bit of mercy from the Alpha, she made 2 sets of poached egg and bread toast. After scanning through the house looking for her, Zaden finally caught her shuffling in the kitchen.  “Well, well, well…Look who is up?         Paws thud through the forest floor. A cold breeze brawled against them as the beast in her hand sprinted through each tree in its way, kicking up a series of dried debris into the air. The wolf’s pants huffed in an upbeat rhythm.             Despite all the commotion, Selena could only hear her heartbeat, drumming loud in her ears. Tears rolled down the corner of her eyes, swept away with the wind, as her body ached so much, and she is losing her strength to hold on.                                                “Zaden…” she whispered. Her voice diffused in the whooshing wind but Zaden heard her with his wolf’s hearing ability. He pushed as much as he can. Her knuckles limp, grip loosening just in time for their destination.      

“Did you do the homework?” Orion took charge of Selena’s stamina building. They were at the waterfall. Orion didn’t make her run as far as Zaden did. Instead, he focused on building the core muscle. A pair of red punching mitts on his hands, while Selena punched him with bare hands. She didn’t leave much of an impact, but she learns to read and anticipate a punch or attack. “Uh-huh…” Selena nodded in between her heavy breathing. Orion can see she was getting too rehearsed with punching mitt, too comfortable with the training.
