World tour

Cassie“Attention! Attention!” Landon says, opening the doors dramatically and walking inside the room in slow motion. As if he’s a messenger sent by god to announce some huge revelation.“Cut the crap, Landon. And just tell them the good news.” Clark says beside him, although I could tell that I swear I can literally hear the excitement in his own voice.“Shut up, dude.” Landon tells Clark, lightly elbowing him on the side. “I’m trying to build the momentum here. Why don’t you just cooperate?”“Come on, Landon. Hurry up and tell them!” Kasey says, barely containing his own excitement. Whatever Landon’s about to say, it must be very important. And whatever it is, I wonder how Kasey’s able to keep his mouth shut about it. “Hurry up or I’ll tell them myself.”“Fine, fine!” Landon says, feeling the pressure from the two. Although he looked lik

World Tour pt 2

Cassie“Since we already had an American tour, we’re focusing on Europe and Asia this time around.” Matthew says, as I go over the documents and paper work regarding the upcoming tour.“So, we’re going on a European tour first.” I say, looking at the suggested schedule. Since it’s a cross country tour, we will be travelling in a tour bus when in Europe and board the plane once we’ve finished going to Asia.Once an artist is touring regularly and playing to thousands of people each night, they will almost-always make use of a tour bus for nationwide tours. With a larger crew, increased workload and sizeable budget, a tour bus serves as an efficient and preferable option for musicians who are touring on a larger scale.“Have you ever been to Europe?” Matthew asks. They’re on a break right now and he always comes to see me every single time he’s not practicing until Landon needs to come himself

France

Matthew“Wow, everything’s so pretty.” Mel beams as we soon as we got off the plane. I can’t blame her. Europe in general, is even more beautiful now that I’m here compared to just seeing it on pictures and the tv.“It is.” Cassie says, walking just right behind her. She doesn’t look as excited as Mel is but I can see the appreciation in her eyes as she takes in the majestic view. “But aside from being gorgeous, I like it better how they were able to preserve so much of their culture.”“Oh, right. There’s nowhere better to go than Europe if you’ve decided on pursuing the arts.” Landon says, appearing beside me.“Well, we should try watching an opera if we’ve got time.” Cassie suggests. Right, she’s been all over Europe so she definitely knows her way around here. Well, we may be a rock band but contrary to the usual stereotype, we’re just like every o

France pt 2

Matthew“But seriously man, does any one in our staff know how to speak French.” Landon says, not giving up. “And I don’t mean just for picking up girls but I heard the French people rarely speak English at all.”“Oh man, I was so excited that I never thought of learning a new language before.” Kasey whines. Although I’ll bet he’s more interested on getting some food while in here. I guess the only way to his heart is really through his stomach.“Don’t worry, we have a staff who knows how to speak French.” Clark says, and the two perked up almost instantly. That means girls for Landon and food for Kasey.“Really? Who?” I ask. Although I think I already have an inkling on who it could be. Well, that is I know someone who’s smart enough to probably know French.“Cassie.” He says.I knew it. I thought.“Apparently, only one from the PR staffs sh

United Kingdom

Cassie“Cassie, where are you going?” Matthew asks me as I get ready to leave.“I’m going to meet a friend.” I tell him. We’ve just arrived in UK and I already made an appointment with my friend before we even got here. We still have some time before the live show in Islington, so I decided to come myself to Heathgate Place. Besides, we’re going to leave for Germany soon after.“Can I come with you?” Matthew asks. I really think he’s dead set on sticking with me throughout this whole tour. He’s been like that ever since we came to France. Not that I’m complaining. In fact, I also love spending time with him.“Alright.” I tell him.“Did you just speak in British accent?” Mel asks, smirking at me. Crap! I think I did it again.“Well, the accent kind of gets to me.” I tell her. I know in myself that I’ve always been adaptable to my environment.

Cassie“So, you’re a celebrity?” Matthew asks Brodie.“Uh, yeah. Ever since I was a kid.” Brodie tells him. Just a while ago he looked like he was about to rip his neck yet now Matthew and Brodie looked pretty friendly already.“Then, is Veronica a celebrity, too?” He asks.“No, I’m most definitely not!” Vee laughs. “Although I’m a writer and I’m writing a script for Dee’s upcoming movie.”“You should read some of her works when you have a free time. She’s really good.” I tell Matthew.“Oh, please. Coming from you Cassie, you flatter me so much.” Vee says.“Any way, I know you’re quite into movies. But how come you didn’t know of Brodie?” I ask Matthew. He’s friends with Cameron, after all.“Maybe because I haven’t actually landed a lead role in Hollywood yet.” Brodie says, humb

Germany

Matthew“Let me guess, you speak German too.” I tell Cassie when we were on our way to Germany. So fare everything has been perfect ever since we got to Europe. Touring with Cassie isn’t so bad, although I’d still prefer to visit other place with Cassie and Cassie alone. Minus all the hassle of preparing for a concert and what not.“warum sollte ich sonst hier sein?” She says in that perfect German diction.“English please.” I said, cuddling closer to her and ruffling her hair. I really love her confidence when it comes to these things. She said she’d been all over Europe before but travelling simply won’t make her an expert in languages like she is now.I know just how much hard work she put in learning each and every language she knows.“Why else would I be here?” She says. “Is what I said. I would have been left behind in Los Angeles if I don’t have an ace up my sleeve.&rd

Matthew“Wow, there’s so much people tonight.” Kasey says, as we saw the huge crowd of people waiting in front the venue as we pulled up next to it an few hours before the concert.“Are those all our fans?” Landon asks, peeking from the window. “I mean, maybe there’s just an event right before ours.”“Nah, they’re all yours.” Mel says, flipping on the documents she’s holding. “There’s nothing scheduled before the concert so those people must have been waiting for the gates to open.”“Cool!” Clark says, enthusiastically. He doesn’t say any thing much but I know how happy he is that all of our concerts were sold out. We may have captured America but the world world is still out there to conquer with our music.“Aren’t you going to meet with your friends while we’re here?” I ask Cassie. She did say they were coming to Germany today

Netherlands

Cassie“Of all the places I’ve been to here in Europe, nothing really beats Amsterdam.” I tell Matthew when we came to our last stop for the European leg of their world tour. With its picturesque canal network, rich history and thrumming cultural scene, the capital of the Netherlands is one of the world’s most vibrant cities.“Oh, I think I remember one of Ed Sheeran’s songs have Amsterdam in its lyrics.” Matthew says, his brow furrowed trying to remember the name of the song.“I think it was used as a theme song in a movie.” He murmured to himself.I chuckled at him, looking so serious just because he can’t remember a name of a song.“Was it movie based on the best selling book book of John Green?” I asked him. Of course, I knew the book and I knew the song that was used as the theme song of the movie adaptation. I even knew the name of the lead actor and actress.“Hmm,

Netherlands pt 2

Cassie“So, have you read that book before?” Matthew asks me. “No, on second thought, don’t answer that. Of course you’ve read it. How can you not.”“I did.” I said, chuckling at him. “The story is actually really good.” I tell him.“That’s high praise coming from you.” He says.“Is that what got you interested in the place?” He asks, as we took a stroll around Amsterdam. I hate to admit it but Matthew really is good looking. I saw a handful of women turn heads just to take a second glance at him whenever we’re walking. And of course, he’s oblivious to all of it.“Nah.” I tell him. “Although it was also a book that got me interested but it wasn’t fiction but an autobiography.”“Tell me about it.” Matthew says curiously. That’s one thing I like about him. He’s always interested with the things that I
