The security in their vicinity was no joke, Doe monitored and checked everything, and it was a good idea that their mansion was at the center of their made-up forest. It was easy for Hent to maneuver the parameter. However, there's something, a feeling, that stops Doe and Bon from getting harsh with Blanche. After all, that was the last wish given. They turned blind from Blanche’s loopholes just how parents turned a blind eye for their children, and that's just right because when will a teenage girl experience the life of being a teenage girl? Blanche wasn't given that time, she was depriv

Same pose.  1..2..3.. at his 4th count a thought passed in his mind that the child could be an orphan who ran away, he made a mental note to call all the near orphanages in the city after he got home. At 5th, he tried to assess the girl by her image, does a child who looked like 6 or 7 could be that expressionless as her? And silent as she could be? Anyhow, he hope that Zara would accept her because this girl has the thing she likes the most. She has a beautiful doll-like face; a heart-shaped face, white, milky, flawless skin, a small face, a cute button-like nose, black hair, pink, heart-shaped lips, and upturned dark eyes.  On 6th, while waiting for the stoplight to turn green, he saw police cars on the other lane, speeding up to the adjacent str

Chapter 45: Noir's Gone

"Is what I did wrong?" The young girl murmured more to herself than to her as she watch all the things in the kitchen get thrown. Her. As in Zara, the wife of Noir. She looked at her with such fury and held her both on her shoulder. "You stupid brat! You don't know what you are doing! Aren't your mother taught you how to cook? What garbage did you put on my plate?! You useless bitch!" The young girl shut her eyes closed as she pushed her with her strong arms away. Her shoulders turned numb immediately and her body is aching all over. A drop of water got on her face and when she opened her eyes, she was already outside the house. Thrown from the window. She tried to stand up and craned her neck on the window sill as she watched Zara put all the mess she made on the trash.Along with the food, the young girl cooked and she called it garbage. A single drop fell on the top of her head

Doe can be impulsive at times especially when someone stopped her work. She was a bit perfectionist, come with her OCD. She got her hands on everything, she wants everything to flow flawlessly and if someone messed her work or forgot to relay something even the tiniest detail, she felt like everything would crumble down, from the start to finish, it was like a domino, when one fell down everyone will follow at least that's what's in her head, but actually,

She shouldn't be challenged by what he proposed, surely, he's just testing the waters before he would dive. Blanche shouldn't let that shake her. "Why? Is your name that exclusive? Are you an actor? Model? Writer?" He laughed and touched his jaw. "Don't you think I look the same just like the one you knew?" Blanche turned to look at the surface water in front of them, the rain completely stopped and somehow the air gave off a very clean smell, it runs through her nostrils and burs

Chapter 48: Vulture's Claws

Blanche held the stem of her wine glass and let the red liquid dance in it as she wait for Alas to answer. She became the red liquid on the glass, it danced around its bowl round and round when a hand hold it. She was like the red wine –sweet and expensive but has a fervent grace when you drink it. Blanche was on her third and final level of Alas' challenge. The first one was under the rain, the second was on the change of clothes, and the last one would be held with a bottle of champagne as an honorable witness. It's one-love, as Blanche could narrow it down. Alas was stupid but intelligent, unlike the one she knows. He kept things under his control and didn't let all of what he has on shown on the table. He does it one by one. Like how someone buries hatchets one by one for the wolves to follow a path. As of now, Blanche was buying time, waiting for the right time to come. For Hent to bind as one. It was

With his left hand on his pants pocket, Blanche has still two little red dots dancing on her skin as she watched him, unfazed. She faced him and mentally scolded herself because of thinking that he was stupid and forgot her idiocy. That people can be stupid at times and even her could not be skipped on that one. She returned herself to the mansion's hallway when she opened the door of Noir's office and found him on the table, with just seconds he got the paper out from its clipped and hide it on his vest. He then acted like he didn't know anything, when in fact he knew everything before she. "But I pushed you on that secret room, where his final journal is located!" she tried to reason even if she's already rubbed with salt and had two snipers pointing at her head. Alas gave her a smug lo
