The Council of Thirteen is made up of 13 of our post powerful and influential leaders. Each one is only addressed as their seat and their seat is also their rank. For example, Number 4 is stronger than Number 9 but not as strong as Number 2. The seat of Number 1 is held by the leader of the council and is only allowed to vote on a disbute in case of a tie. Also, they have employ various packs to help with their investagations and uprisings known as the Cabinet. There are thirteen of them broken into 3 groups. 6 Inquisitors, those tasked with investigating and weeding out criminals. 6 Enforcers who are tasked with assistanting the Inquisitors with arrests and stronger packs. And finally, the strongest of this group, only referred to as Number 1. This group is only brought in with the hardest and most influential cases and criminals. The unknown male growled. He hasn’t heard from his rogues in hours! And all of their phones go right to voicemail. He slammed his fists down on the table again, making his pack jump and hide in fear. This pack was not a normal pack, it was made up of the remnants of the many packs he toppled in his mission to gather resources and allies. “What is going on?!” He raged.   “You know, you could search their phone’s data from here. “Are you okay?” Samantha asked me as I twirled her on the dance floor. My heart fluttered again and I felt more pack members attach themselves to me.   “Yeah, I’m good. It just feels weird.” I admitted as I dipped her slightly. “It feels like threads weaving around my heart.”   “Yeah, just be thankful it's not all at one time.” Samantha smiled sadly, she was remembering when she became alpha and I hugged her close. “But it feels like most of the omegas have already become attached. Let me know if you get winded.”   I smiled at her, she was worried about me. Pulling my head down and putting her hair over my face I chuckled. I woke up to a feeling of intense peace. The sunlight streaming through the window seemed brighter than normal and I raised my head slowly. My mate was still passed out on top of me, and I glanced around... how did we end up on the floor?  I grinned remembering we accidentally rolled off the bed and never bothered to get back up. Stretching slightly, I crossed my arms under my head and closed my eyes again, diving into the pack bond slightly. Now I could feel the titled members of the pack with more clarity. Violet seemed to be in her office, her blimp on my internal radar was the brightest. The rest of the week went by without any word from home, but when we were getting ready to leave Japan, we heard that another pack was destroyed while we were gone. Jess had gone off pack grounds to meet up with an old military friend to help her with the SIM card. So far nothing had been discovered, but they were still working on it.   It was dark when the plane touched down in Asheville and the car ride was quiet and peaceful on the way back.
