It must have been due to the medication Brianna was given to assist her body to recuperate; she woke up while everyone was asleep. She could only see Lucien as Clark and Jack were seated by the wall next to the door, a direction not visible in her laying on the bed position. Had she been laid slanted on the bed, she might have noticed the two men leaning their head back to the backrest of their sofa chair, silently asleep facing her soles as she was on the bed.
