AURORA I re-closed the door and leaned back up against it; it was a set-up. Everything was a set-up. He wanted me all along. He just wasn't expecting his son to be my true mate. AURORA Once I have my breathing under some sort of control, I stand up straight and make my way quickly into my closet. I know it is full of Oliver's version of a uniform, but there must be something in here that is a little more respectable. I rummage through every drawer, but there is nothing in here that would cover more than just the intimate parts. I sighed but then remembered the big closet room that Grace would take me to whenever there was a big event and Lincoln wanted to show me off. I grab one of the dressing gowns off of the hangers and wrap it around myself. I tie the sash and then move carefully out of the closet. I listen and when I don't hear anything; I move out into the room, over to the door leading to the servant's area and again carefully and quietly look around, making sure there is no one around that would stop me. LOGAN I am up early as I didn't sleep well, not that I actually expected to. I get out of bed, head into the bathroom, have a shower, and put on some slacks and a shirt. AURORA I feel sorry for Mary and a little guilty. I wish I could have done something to stop Toby from doing whatever he was going to do to her, but I must thank her later.
