Once the cave was covered in steam, I stopped. I watch as they suck the steam. Their wounds heal, fascinated by how their body heals itself. Hearing someone come up behind me, glance out the side of my eye, and I see the child from before.“Do you need something little one?”, I ask, not turning to face them.They say nothing, knowing if I turn around, they’ll freak out again, so I keep my eyes on their parents. Once they were healed, I made my way out of the cave, but as I reached the edge, one parent called out, “Wait.”
