The skies were black as always being ornamented by silvery stars. It looked like a reflection of the sands. It was several nights now that she walked on this caged paradise and yet she knew nothing of getting out there. She hoped that maybe the stars could tell her the way out. If only the Deities could hear her, she had no idea just as she was not sure if they exist at all.The cold breeze played her hair and it made the back of her nape stood. The sands were white and like all sand, the tiny glitters made it more like crystalline. She could see the horizon where the sea met the skies. This place had no moon. If there's one, it would be more like those things she dreamt of seeing in movies. She felt more alive now. It was so ridiculous to say such a thing, especially that she was stuck there. Her way out was still unknown and Red was unwilling to tell her any secrets. She had to figure out her way out or she's stuck with her. 

Their journey was not very easy. They faced so many dangers on the land but Albert had made sure that they were safe and out of the woods. Well, they were not out of the woods.  They were in the middle of it and she was very happy. Exhilaratingly happy. For they found, not only the way out but the place she only wished to come since they arrived. Since they crashed. They found the Cabin. They reached at a plateau one night while they set camp. Then, she wondered why the place was so familiar. From where they were camping, she saw the light from somewhere and she could not mistaken a house. A simple house. There were lights coming from the outside because that was what she told them. Always out the lights on outside the house. You don't know who needs comfort at the middle of the night. That purpose was served at the moment and Betty was just too happy to live in it. They were tired but the sight of it made Betty's blood alive. She screamed with delight and eve

She found it difficult at first. The Night Children was a challenging race to raise. It took her so many rituals and many tears to gather their faith.She did not expect them to love her. Love was not she needed. She needed their support and cooperation in the coming war.It was laboring now. The scent of war was in the air and it fabricated of blood and revenge. Those who lived on the other side of the veil must be afraid of their rage.The deities did not care and the Night Children's anger was insurmountable. For centuries, they had been forgotten as if they did not exist. Quite left for the leftovers of humanity while their cousins on the Angels were given the Paradise.Miranda sat on the Constant's place. It took her some time to call it her own now. It had been Albert's always. And, everytime each of the Night Children looked at the place, they wondered why she was there.She was there because Albert gave up the Reign - not because she won it

It was hard to say that Elena said the truth but it must be difficult for her to know what sacrifices she had given for the quest. Jason has to understand her silence. She accepted his visits to the Time Palace but she was not speaking to him. She was always looking far away. Jason gave her space and he needed to prepare her for what was about to come. Besides, he's not yet ready too. He's preparing himself as well. The drums of war were now rolling and he could see that they were almost ready. The smokes had been rising for days and the skies were no longer peaceful. The air was now arid of metal and the music played by the clang of swords and swishes of magic if not by the striking of lightning. The Palace was once a small peaceful community but someone was shaking it and it was just expected that these moments would arrive. They had the advantage of they prepared and the Magicians were just lucky because they had someone who had seen everything before.
