Rose Leaves crunched softly underneath my feet as I paced the edge of the Red Spruce border. I had gotten my sister and Austin out and even managed to smuggle out Zara, her mom, and her son. They were safe in Lunar Lake, but I wouldn’t be able to smuggle out every member of Red Spruce; it was impossible. “What now?” Pru’s voice pulled me back into reality. “I don’t know,” I admitted, a bit defeated sounding.
