Felicity Paige Niamh was her name Pride was her bane Love was her bane Hate her bless Wealth was her temporal meal And poverty Poverty was her sacrosanct deal     She slid the French doors open and walked into the balcony. Placing her hand on the rail, she closed her eyes and breathed in while enjoying the scent around her and looked up. The sky was bruised with clouds like bunches of deep mauve cotton that stretched as wide as the eyes could see. However, not one of them touched the sun.   Their edges brightenedas though someone had taken out a felt pen and drew their outline. Pink and purple seeped into thee spaces between the clouds the sun forked out through every gap it could find. The sight before her was breathtaking and she was happy to be enjoying it.   “Pack your bags.”   Six years of not talking to her and this were the first words that came from her father’s mouth. She turned to look him in the eye demanding and answer. They had the same emerald eyes and jet black hair and it would feel like looking into a mirror. The only difference was how Felicity looked like. She was the exact height as her mother when Bruce first met her.   Felicity might have gotten his eyes but they she looked at him reminded him so much of her. Her body also took after her mother.  Felicity thought she had heard wrong. There was a certain longing in her father’s voice. She immediately looked at him but she could not read any emotion from his tired looking face. However, his eyes told her that there was pain being them. Her earlier speculation went out the window since the pain could only mean one thing, sleep. Bruce alighted the carriage and waited for Felicity to do the same. Felicity closed her book and followed her father. Once her feet touched the ground she looked around and took the scenery in. The countryside always brightened her days whenever she came. She looked at the sky, held the book tighter to her chest, took a deep breathe and smiled. The air was cleaner here. The trees were livelier.  Felicity woke up. She was on her bed while Roger lay on the couch. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. Moving her hand, she felt something under her covers. She pulled it out to reveal her mother’s book. Holding it to her chest, she decided to get out of her covers yet something was stirring within her trying to tell her something.She sat on her bed and thought about it a while longer. The pent up emotions from the previous day flowed into her heart at once making her wince. The memories of the past night made her jump. She had seen the man who had rescued her in her dreams. He was the same man who sat by the shore on the rocks. She had confirmed that Roger could see him to but when she asked his name, she couldn’t hear it.Felicity had collapsed right after that.
