13. Betrayed

 Why was he calling her now, at this time? Couldn’t he have waited much longer before he called. She knew very well why he had to call her and she wasn’t ready to answer his call, especially not in a corridor as this. The walls could sell her out and she be thrown out of that hose without accomplishing a single mission, to her parents who might just kill her. She was powerful but not enough compared to her father. She could not measure up to him and besides, even if she went to any part of this world, he would still find her and kill her if she ever tries to run after a failed mission.She quickly ran to her room, entered inside and locked the door, ensuring one last time that the door was locked. Luckily for her, the phone stopped ringing but she was shocked when the call came back not too long after.She swallowed nervously and answered the call. “H-Hello!” she answered and silence was the answer she got.
