Aldridge snuck away from lunch, making his way to the house they kept Christian in. The king’s carriage was outside along with a few royal guards. They looked at Aldridge surprised when they saw him, specifically at the bump in his stomach.Aldridge nodded his head in their direction then he went in and unlocked the door. He saw Sterling standing at the door with his sword raised but recognized Aldridge and lowered his sword.Locking the door, Aldridge said, “You are certainly jumpy.”Sterling smiled at him and hugged Aldridge, “I am so happy to see you.”Aldridge smiled saying, “Me too. Congratulations on your baby with Leonardo.”S

The carriage stopped outside a beautiful home. Looking out of the window Silas asked, “What is this?”“Get out,” Hudson ordered.Silas rolled his eyes and opened the door. After he climbed out, Hudson did so too and he turned to Joan Coachman, “You can leave us, we’ll be here when you are done with all your duties.”“I’m not fetching you,” she said and ushered the horses.Silas looked at his sister suspiciously then looked at Hudson who was digging in his pockets, “What are we doing here?”Hudson pulled out the keys from his pockets and let them hang in front Silas’s face and said, “Take it.”

“Why don’t you just live with me instead of Aldridge. I’ve grown to dislike him,” Joshua said to Shawn as he flipped through documents leaving his signature on each page. Shawn stared at him and could see that Joshua’s pride had taken over once again. Shawn licked his tongue across his test trying to hide his anger, “So why the sudden change?” Joshua looked up at him and said, “Well, it just makes my skin crawl that you and Aldridge can live in that kind of relationship where you would willingly add a third person to your relationship. Shawn, I think you know this but with my father giving me everything back, I actually do not need Aldridge’s charity nor do I need you in my life to help me raise this child.” Shawn scoffed and said, “You better choose your words wisely after this.”

Joshua exhaled finally with the last push and heard the baby cry. His head was lulling to the left as he asked, “Is my baby okay?”“Yes my lord, you have given birth to a baby boy,” the majordomo said and as he wrapped the baby in a blanket.The doors opened and Shawn walked in. He looked at the baby in the majordomo’s arms and walked up to him, “Give him here.”The majordomo looked at him worried but handed the baby to Shawn and said, “Congratulations my lord, it’s a boy.”Shawn couldn’t help but smile and looked at his son. He had Shawn’s brown hair instead of Joshua’s black and said as he walked around the bed, “He has my hair.”Joshu
