Sunday evening!  Once Mia was done taking a shower, She dried and wrapped her body with a towel. She also had another towel wrapped around her wet hair. Opening the bathroom door, She came face to face with the best surprise of the day.  "Oh my God, Colt." She threw herself at him and hugged the hell out of him, while being mindful of her belly. "Hi, Queen Mia." He smiled, returning the hug. "I missed you so much." "I missed you more, Colt. We miss you so much." He heard her sniffle against his chest. Colton smiled, he kissed Mia on the side of her head and continued hugging her.  

"Yes, colt. I was on my way to the club when Hailey's call came through. I called you after that but you failed to answer your damn phone. I would have called your secretary but I remember she closes by 6:30 pm. I had no choice but to come back to the office to fetch you."  "But really, you should have been more responsible, Colt. Why in hell would you allow a pregnant woman to drive around herself? At night for that matter? You have access to all of Dad's drivers. Why can't you appoint one to Mia?"  "As a soon-to-be-married man, what the hell are you even still doing in the office by this time? Stepping into the suite, Colton Royal was greeted with the beeping sound of the monitor. He shut the door behind him as gently as he could.  Walking further into the room, he felt a pang in his chest the moment he sighted Mia.  Finally getting to her bedside, tears welled up in Colton's eyes when he took in Mia's appearance. She had a bandage around her forehead, another one by her left ankle, a bruise on her left cheek, and a few on her hands.  Reminding himself that he had to be strong for her, Colt decided not to show any more weakness. One hour later!  Both Colton and Mia stirred in their sleep when a knock came through on the door. The person on the other side opened the door and it turned out to be Richard and Almira, along with a nurse who rolled in the ultrasound machine. "How's my favorite patient doing?" Richard smiled the moment he approached the bed.  "I hope you don't mind our position. She just needed some warmth."  "It's fine, Mr. Royal. You don't need to explain anything to us. As long as you're being careful of her injuries." Almira smiled. Colton nodded. He placed a long kiss on Mia's lips, before helping himself down from the bed so they could check up on her. 

"Are you for real?" Vicky said after a while, her lips curving into a big smile. Colton nodded. "Oh my God. Double bundles of joy. This is great news. Congratulations my love."
