However, the princess was executed after her crimes were revealed to the emperor.  The princess, whose name was Amanda, was reborn and swore to correct her mistakes and be a good wife to her husband, the future emperor of the kingdom.  Gabrielle found the story very appealing, especially since the character of Amanda eventually found out, following

"Action!" Clothed in silk-like material, Princess Amanda gasped dramatically, seeing her husband for the first time in that lifetime. She awoke that day, realizing she had been reborn on the day of their marriage.  With nothing but the yearning in her eyes, her lips trembled as she called on to him, "Prince Lark?" A tear fell down her cheek as she rushed to her husband with a sweet embrace.  "My prince, I will never leave your side this time," the character of Princess Amanda unwittingly muttered, making the prince laugh.  "Princess Amanda, while I have longed to marry you, I am surprised by your immediate affection," reported Prince Lark.  The princess, played by Gabrielle, quickly retreated her arms and took a step back. She lowered her gaze before apologizing, "I'm - I'm sorry." She performed to blush and reasoned, "You are truly handsome. I - I just could not help it." Following a few more lines from the script,
