All Chapters of Crashed Into Love.: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

     At the stroke of nine, the halls were no longer crowded as the classroom was quickly filled with the bickering sound of disputing teenagers, clearly annoyed with the seating arrangements made for the next few weeks up until the internship selection would finalize.     Even the usually neutral Jeremy Adams couldn’t help feeling a bit displeased for some strange reason. The sight of Jake suddenly flattering Erika continuously with obvious praise, was both annoying and laughable. Funny simply because of the hypocrisy in his actions. In about 24 hours he went from finding the nerd as disgusting and ugly, to a fascinating beauty when her appearance was no different from before.      “I like your sweater today; the color matches your eyes. I can easily get lost in them.” Jake commented while leaning towards the innocent girl, just enough for the guy beside him to overhear. 

  “Whatever it is you’re up to, stop t! I’m not interested in playing some silly game.” Erika retorted as she carefully placed her glasses back on, returning to her seat hoping to continue with her meal.    “Good, I don’t like games either… well except for football, x-box, pools…” He suddenly started listing a bunch of irrelevant literal games, causing the girl’s lips to twitch in annoyance, “you must be doing this on purpose, it’s impossible for someone to be so… so…”     “Multi-talented? Yeah, I know, I’m quite gifted… though I’ve never actually won most of the matches…” Marcus interrupted with his only conclusion.      “I think crazy would be more appropriate to describe you.”       “Says the girl accessorizing with fake transition lenses, by the way what’s your first name? I didn’t catch that part.”    

    ‘Oh, my gosh! What the heck is this? How can this even be considered a complete outfit? It looks like they ran short of material and just decided to improvise.’ Erika felt an instant headache being asked to wear something so revealing.     Although she was expecting a mini skirt and tan top, much like the one the three plastics were wearing, this was beyond her imagination. First of all, she was at most a six and that toto looking thing was close enough to a size fifteen in width… they could have just as easy used some of the extra on the sides to add to the bottom, which quite frankly needed it. Surely neither Britney nor her minions could fit in that. What were their intentions?    “Shit! this isn’t good… hold on dude, don’t do anything stupid!” Marcus anxiously trailed behind Jeremy, trying to stop him from acting impulsive.    Although he wanted nothing more than to see the annoying plastics being melted down to reality, he couldn’t just let his friend’s life be thrown into chaos simply because he chose to defend the honor of a girl, he might have some sort of feelings for, but could not be entangled with.     Ignoring his concerns, Jeremy once again spoke up, standing behind the trio that hurriedly surrounded Erika. “Britney! That’s enough! Behave yourself.”      Even if she had a strong intuition that her boyfriend somehow suddenly became infatuated with the nerd after their first encounter, she really didn’t expect him to intervene.     Listening to Erika’s description of what was going on, her parents instantly accepted it as the truth. It did sound a lot like something she would do. From clumsily trying to escape being lectured by the guidance councilor only to foolishly bumped into someone and last but not least, refusing to dress like an actual heart-throb teen in a cheerleading uniform.      Her current appearance could also attest to her story of being forced to wear an outfit she wasn’t comfortable with. As for the part of Britney angrily attempting to rip it off, she simply wanted to down-play the situation by saying the girls were demanding she either dress the way they did, or she’d be placed in detention for violating their dress code.      “Phillip, I think you should have another discussion with your daughter.
