Chapter 11

Gossips erupted the moment Zain arrived at the school parking lot, with Sasha on the bike. He didn't give a fuck about what the students have to say, but there was a feeling in his mind at this moment, which was becoming a pain to him. Why does he feel like he wants to hold Sasha's hands and personally take her to her classroom? Why does he feel a sort of compulsion to protect the girl? "Wait, I'll get you down." Zain said, when he felt Sasha struggling with her snickers to touch the ground. He got down from the bike first, and then he grabbed Sasha's waist in an attempt to help her down, but their eyes met in the process and their breaths mingled. The look in Sasha's beautiful eyes brought Zain under hypnosis as he stood unmovable, just staring at the girl. "Um, please help me down." Sasha whispered as she took her eyes off Zain, glancing around to see some of the students staring at them and gossiping. Zain snapped out and proceeded to help her down from th

Chapter 12

"I'm ordering you to go back to your place Sasha. And stop touching my hair." Zain barked as he roughly shoved Sasha away from the bed, but his strength accidentally sent the girl toppling onto the floor. "Oh shit, are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asks, flying out of the bed to help Sasha on her feet. She shouldn't have gotten too close to him, why the hell does she makes him feel all sorts of emotions? "Thanks. I'm okay, don't worry." Sasha smiled, trying to not react to the pain in her elbow. She has hit her elbow so hard and she suspected it might have bruised, but she didn't want Zain to feel so bad about it. It wasn't his fault, he's not good in dealing with emotions. But Zain knew something was odd from the way Sasha was nibbling on her lips as though trying to mask her pain. She must've gotten hurt somewhere, though he knew she would never say it because she's such an idiot! While Sasha tried to help herself to get up, Zain leaned in closer and unexpect

Chapter 13

Back in the small quarantine room, Zain felt so bored of staying in there alone. He felt like he has been thrown into a cold prison. He was neither an internet geek nor a fan of social media to be able to enjoy pressing into his smartphone. Also, the thoughts of what that Doctor said about them staying longer in quarantine was quite infuriating. He couldn't imagine his life getting stuck with Samantha's daughter. He kept pacing to and fro in the room, his thoughts spiraling in different unspeakable directions — yet he couldn't stop himself from wondering what that Samantha's daughter might be doing in her other side of the room. It's been more than an hour, but he hasn't heard any noises coming from her direction. He was damn curious to know what the girl was doing. Zain walked to the glass barrier, pushed the door open and abruptly entered. Sasha was busy scribbling down something in a note book when Zain abruptly

Chapter 14

Days slowly passed by with Zain and Sasha both not talking to one another. They spent two good weeks in the quarantine facility until all the assessments and checks were thoroughly completed. They were finally allowed to return to Mr Centineo's mansion house. Including Samantha, but Lora remained in the hospital due to other existing health complications. "Sasha, take this food upstairs to the young Master's room." Samantha said to Sasha who was helping with the arrangement of the dining for the Centineo's family dinner. "Today is Sunday, remember to press your uniforms immediately when you get back. You will be going to school tomorrow.” Sasha groaned in her head, feeling repulsed by the idea of taking the food to Zain's room. Why doesn't his Lordship come down and eat with his family? Mr and Mrs Centineo were all back from their journey. And they agreed to allow her to stay in the house with

Chapter 15

Sasha felt her cheeks burning up and the little bubbly feeling in her stomach quickly became manifest. With Zain giving her such a passionate confession and a back hug, she was sure that passing out might be the next thing on the agenda list.   "Say something. I said I like you." Zain whispered, his voice low and husky and filled with intense emotions. He could feel his own heartbeat pounding against his chest.   "I like you." Sasha blurted out, silently. Though she didn't believe that those confessions came right out of her own lips. It was like they have a mind of their own.   Blushing as Zain twisted her around to face him, she tried so desperately to hide her silly tomato cheeks.   Raising up her eyes, she was met with Zain's intense gaze on her, making her nervous as she instinctively nibbled and chewed on her lips.   "They’re very beautiful, Sasha."

Chapter 16

In the morning, Sasha didn't wait for her Mom to wake her up from sleep. She was already awake at 5:30am, completed her routine and even helped Samantha with some of her morning chores. As soon as the clock ticks to 7:00am, Sasha kissed her Mom on the cheeks and rush out through the kitchen backdoor. She stood at the main gate of the mansion house, waiting for Zain to come out so they could go to school together. Zain said they were going to school together. Does it mean that he now feels comfortable enough with having her around? Does he mean he wouldn't mind all the slandering from the other students when they're seen together in school? Sasha wondered in her mind. Just as she was about to walk down towards the Betty Palace signboard which wasn't far away from the house, she heard Zain's bike being kick started from inside the gate. She stopped and waited until the gate opened and Zain drove out, w
