  Lady Maria's Cottage   The walls of the cottage that were so sultry in the wintertime seem so delicate against the unsettled invasion of Anna's fire. Lady Maria has never seen her dried leaves that were hung all over the corner and did not disappear so fast. In an average fire, they would be most of the way to being burned before the fire dominates the entire cottage, not this time. The oranges flames are as full and flared endlessly from Anna's outreach hands, her fires warming the cottage but never burning a single leaf as she was kneeling beside Harry, concentrating like her life depending on it.  Lady Maria reckoned that this woman was in love with this man, she never abandoned his side, her burning hand went to Harry's forehead then Anna spoke with such a soft voice, whispering encouragement. She told them to be back after tomorrow night and no longer a day and for what reason she didn't share.   Jerome Wallace was released from his cell with two human guards snatching his arms and didn't utter a single word. He noticed that they were in fact in a cavern covered with an alloy of silver. The taller guard was a little bit off, his scent was familiar to him and his silver-gray hair was enchanted. He knew this human was covering something, yet none seemed to talk. The walls, the floors were all covered with their bane. No possible rescue will come sooner, and he knew that their pack link didn't work, nor could he give Lady Maria her exact location.   Two days later, an eerie silence settled over the mountain of Lady Maria's cottage. The extensive howling sound of the unnatural wind ceased in unison. Birds of prey and land predators stalking their next meal froze in place as though aware of the great unknown power, appearing from above the mountains. The sounds, the movement, all the signs of life that filled the dawn light just halted. The wildlife knew what was happening. The mountain on the right side of the cottage stood above the valley of the northernmost tip of the Icy Cavern. The can of troll who happened to camp in her backyard stopped on their activity and watched the mountain clouds above them. It was the tallest peak in the area. Crowned with snow most of the quarter of the year and was known for its heavy dew and its evergreen trees that peppered the region. Lady Maria gestured
