'She wanted to go back home' Nero read the message sent to him by Mia. He knows who 'she' is. He felt a pang in his heart. This is a foreign feeling to him. But he knows what it is called as. 'Hurt' it is what he is feeling in his heart. He is hurt that she decided to run away instead of facing her fears. He can understand where her fears are coming from.
