                                                                   Sofia "Hey!" Kris greeted, opening the door even before I could ring the bell. I stared at her flushed face and frowned. "What is it?" I inquired closing the door behind me. "How do you know there's something?" She demanded. "Because you look very excited and you have a ridiculous grin plastered on your face," I answered, pouring myself a glass of water and throwing my purse on the couch. "Really?" She frowned and I nodded my head. 

"Sofia!" Liam cried as I headed towards a secluded place near the parking. I wasn't expecting him to follow me but since he was, I knew what I was going to do. I was going to give him a piece of mind. Something that I had wanted to do ever since he fired me and something which was delayed because of his so-called apologies that I readily believed in. Ugh! "Stop!" He shouted, effectively stopping me on my track. I stared around and there was no one there but us. Good. I turned around to face him and instantly wished he was not so f**king hot. His black t-shirt was drenched in sweat (kudos to me for that!) revealing how muscular and strong his chest was. His deep dark eyes scrutinized me with those hypnotizing intensity.

"Yes sir, I apologize to you but Mr. McKinnon had to leave on very short notice for Chicago. Something really important came up...," I grumbled on the phone when Hannah stumbled into my office looking as radiant as ever.I placed out my index finger as a gesture to wait one moment and she nodded, settling down on Sandy's desk."Yeah, he will be back on Friday and I will reschedule your meeting among the most urgent priorities. Yes, thank you. Have a good day sir," I cut the call and sighed."Too much, isn't it?" Hannah said, giving me a wry smile. "How does he handle all these?" I muttered.
