She knew she would look desperate if got caught but it was going to helpful for her to move on from someone, who knows she caught him with another woman.She stood in the doorway and then with her fingertips she gently knocked on the door to get their attention.

"What is happening?" she uttered in panic, shivering when the guys opened the door forcefully as one of them had already pulled the driver to the side.Kathleen's heart seemed to be jumping out of her mouth out of stress. She was pregnant and these men didn't seem to care about her condition because the moment her door opened, the guy with a red scarf, hiding his face, pulled her out with force.She couldn't notice anything in haste but the cross tattoo on his chest that she could look at from the unbuttoned shirt was something that grabbed her attention."What do---you wa---nt," she was murmuring under her breath as the two of them pointed a gun at her and the others at the driver."Give us whatever you have," they demanded from the driver but then one of them turned his attention towards Kathleen, who was starting to panic until she passes out."She seems like a rich lady," one guy spoke when he probably recognized her from the news earlier, "I s

"Ryker!" Kathleen jumped the moment she realized how close he was to her. Even though they had been through a lot, it still surprised her that her skin got goosebumps to his touch."Relax! I'm not gonna eat you." He frowned, not pulling away from Kathleen. She lowered her face whilst he gently massaged her back in the most awkward position but it didn't take Kathleen too long to get back into her sense and gently push Ryker away, he looked surprised."Don't start what I have finally stepped back from." She uttered very softly with her eyes lowered at her empty fingers, "Wait! Where is my ring?" she questioned, looking around on the couch and running her hands around to look for the ring.It wasn't anything expensive, but she had it on after she found it in her brother's bags, he had bought it for her birthday but couldn't give it to her due to the accident."What happened?" Ryker saw her going crazy after something so ordinary and couldn't help but to ask

"Tell me, tell me why did you all do me like this? Why is everybody so mean---so meaaan to me." She was having a mental breakdown and by the time, Ryker could find a spot to park the car safely, Kathleen had already messed it up."I wanna see how you all will feel if I die," having no reaction of sympathy from others made Kathleen desperate. It was sad that whenever she tried to pick herself up and move on, one thing or other pushed her back to the ground."Kathleen! We will talk about it okay? Just please let me drive." Ryker was having a hard time in keeping the concentration on such a busy road as he was concerned Kathleen might end up hurting herself.She didn't listen to him and took the belt off, her mind has entirely blocked the thought of her being pregnant. Depression and anxiety won since nobody helped her feel better.As she attempted to hit the steering wheel again, the car hit a bump and Kathleen collided with the dashboard but not very hard

Once Kathleen was discharged from the hospital, she was welcomed with a decorated home. Things were finally looking good for Kathleen; her only stress was about her brother.Her mother did call her and apologized for not being able to come and see the baby, but that was it.Kathleen was also a little busier with Juan but thankfully, Ryker was a good help.
