   Silence loomed over them for a while. Aramide held her battered breath as she stared back at the man waiting for him to speak again. Had it been an illusion? was she hearing correctly? did Cole not insinuate that something else apart from what they all knew had happened ten years ago?   How was this going to affect their lives now?   To be honest, Aramide was sick and tired of this back and forth. The only thing she wanted and craved was to be with her daughter and then go far away from all these conspiracies. But it had dawned on Aramide that the more she tried to move away the deeper she sunk into the web of lies that were laid. It seemed like an unending battle    “Twelve years ago...” Cole began.
