River POV I wake up and I look around trying to figure out where I am and I see Gabe sleeping with his arm across my stomach. Slowly I love his arm and I sit on the bed. God. Gabriel POV  I open my eyes and blink a few times trying to figure out where I am. I look around and I see River asleep next to me. It is the first time I actually fell asleep next to a woman. With my fingers, I move a strand of her hair behind her ear that fell on her face. I smile looking at her. Her cheeks are rosy and she is sleeping with parted lips. River POV I woke up a little later today. I have been doing all my university assignments at home and sending them by email to the professors. Gabe spoke to the university and explained what happened and how sick I was and they agreed to let me work from home. At least I have some distraction. Today Pedro and Jonah are coming over to spend the afternoon with me. It is Saturday after all and all we want to do is watch movies and eat junk food. I am careful with what I eat because having someone around that can cook for me all the time will make me put weight on or become diabetic.I hear the door ringing and as I was getting up to open it I felt extremely dizzy. I don’t know why. This always happens after I eat. I feel dizzy and nauseous.

Gabriel POVIt’s been two weeks. The doctor has been around and taken another round of blood tests and River keeps getting worse. There are days that she is okay and she feels like new but the last three days she’s been really bad and that made her lose a lot of weight as she can’t keep any food in her. I am getting extremely worried. She has been complaining of headaches again. She has gastrointestinal exams this week so they can check how she’s doing. River looks like a skeleton. Her eyes are dark and she’s got horrible black bags under her eyes. She keeps throwing up constantly. Even if she doesn’t eat anything. Her body is weak and she’s constantly cold and shivering. If she’s not throwing up she’s asleep but her body is not taking it. She hasn’t had any food the last twenty-four hours but she’s still feeling sick and she’s struggling to wake up. S
