It was the eleventh of Spring, when he heard the most devastating news that came to him. One of their good neighbors went to his school to inform the little child. The 1800s sure was full of surprises, schools were invented, it was also the birth of the battery, arc light and so on. World War II just started a year ago, I don't know when will this end. War after one. I heard from the news, that Hitler was one of the reason why it happened. They say that he has invaded some of the European countries. What a pain. Now I am trapped again in a war between countries. First it was World War I and now,this. It was a cloudy Thursday, autumn was just around the corner. The sun was still nowhere to be seen. The house was only lit by few light bulbs and candles. People during the 1880's were great for inventing these stuff. Making our lives a bit at ease.Yet, this war made our life uneasy. But then this incident happened. When I woke up, she's not in her place. The infant was sleeping peacefully. He has a white complexion, auburn hair and sometimes he opens his beautiful eyes which I guess will soon be blue. I searched for his mom, first in the basement. She's not even in the bathroom which is just adjacent to the stairs. I entered the bathroom with the child. I put down the infant next to the large basin, I get my towel to fixed myself, and get dressed when I plan to get upstairs. I went upstairs to search for his mom. He was angelic and silent. I helped Leana to walk down to the basement, she had this baby carrier so I don’t need to carry Geanne. Especially I don’t know how to carry a child moreover, an infant.She carefully remove Geanne and placed him on the bed. Then, she slowly lie down to bed.I placed the blanket on them. I transported to the year 1950 with people with me, now they left me... Well, I was used to being alone. I went to the basement to get the toolbox there. This day I will remove all the wooden planks nailed on my windows.The deafening silence was broken by the noise of the planks removed from the windows, and the cheers of people outside.The once gloomy house was now filled with light by the sun. It feels good.I removed my shirt to wipe my sweat off my body. That whole morning till early noon took me on removing all those barricades. It has been two months since I became an executive for a company, known for telecommunication. Guess what, Dante had a partner (lucky dog), the owner of the dam or should I say his wife, gave me a three month old puppy. He looks exactly like him, he was too energetic. I got up early and prepare breakfast, I have work to attend to. I placed dog food and some water on separate bowls for the two. I went in my bedroom, scanned my wardrobe and wore my formal attire with necktie and went to work. Things have changed now, I haven't seen Leana and my focus was on my job. Last day of December I went in a public library to read a book about transfusion of blood , though fiction I would like to try it.January, new year and new morning at around ten, I left Whitney and went to the pharmacy. I bought a syringe and some supplies needed for the house. I took a cab and returned home.I hope my plan would work. I went to the kitchen's island to prepare for the transfusion. I called Whitney and she approached wearily.I put a sedative on her meal to prepare her. I secretly withdraw my blood using the syringe. I had withdrawn a five milliliter of my blood.When she was finished eating, minutes later she felt sleepy. I carried her to the kitchen island when she passed out."I hope this will work" I mumbled.Without any knowledge of what would happen, I looked and felt for her veins, once I was able to searched for it I carefully inject my blood in her.
