The two were left looking in the direction Kieran disappeared to, Austin sighed then looked at Shannon who still had her eyes fixed at the direction the vampire elder disappeared to. “Is he going to be a problem?” asked Austin, she slowly turned to look at him. “The question should be, are you both going to be a problem?” she asked with her eyebrow raised looking at Austin.“He calls me a dog Shan.” Complained Austin making Shannon chuckle. “The same way you call him a blood-sucking vampire.” She told her and he looked at her in disbelief. “Are you taking his side?” he asked but she shook her head. “I am not taking any sides but you both call each other names.” Austin sighed. “Are you leaving with him now?” he did not want to be away from her again.Only the Goddess knows when he was going to see her again if she left. “I am leaving am tired.” His heart sank when she said th

Nina and Shannon were standing outside the packhouse after Nina helped Shannon with packing. They were talking about how much they are going to miss each other when they saw an unfamiliar car coming through the gates. They looked at each other wondering who the person could be. “Is your mate picking you up now?” asked Nina looking at the car.“Yes, but not now, the meeting is not over yet,” Shannon told her. “I am not expecting anyone, not unless the alpha is expecting someone,” Nina said looking like she is thinking. The car came then stopped in the parking not far from them, the driver came out and opened the door for Tia. She came out then walked towards the two women. They looked at each other then back at her, they had the same question in mind, shouldn’t she be in the meeting? “Good afternoon dear Goddess.” She bowed her head as she greeted, Shannon saw her puffy eyes and wondered if something had happened. &l

The two were left together in the office glaring at each other after Shannon left, Austin growled at Kieran and he hissed in his direction showing his canines. Eliot went into the office and when he saw what was happening, he did not say a word but turned back and left. He did not know what it was like sharing a mate but judging from how those two were behaving, it was not a pleasant experience. He thought that maybe if they were both werewolves then they might have gotten along but now it was different. They were sworn enemies and no mate was going to change that. “Don’t you dare do anything with her without me being there, I know what your kind is like bloodsucker and if you dare. You will face my wrath.” Kieran laughed throwing his head back.“Your wrath? Oh, little pup, you have such a wild imagination.” He got up and dusted an invisible dust off his jacket then straightened it. “She said Friday pup and Friday it will be. I will

A week has passed with Kieran busy organizing a safe accommodation for his kind and spending time with his mate on the days she was with him. He has not found time to go to the elder’s house during the past week and the elders have been waiting for him to show up so that they can ask for his assistance in finding the seer. They have heard about the attack on the vampires and thought that he will show but he had not.It was Friday evening and Shannon has cooked dinner for the three of them. They were now waiting for Austin to arrive since this was the day, they had set for them to mark and mate with her. She was nervous about the whole thing; she did not know what to expect or how to act around these men. They are both great men with power and status. She on the other hand is the girl whose parents were killed, was made a slave, and now has powers she has no idea how to use.She felt small compared to her mates and wondered if the Moon Goddess did not make a mista

After placing Shannon on Austin’s bed, the two men walked out to Austin’s office. They took their seats and sighed. “I have never seen so many rogues in one place and those look like a pack than random rogues.” Austin thought out loud. “The attack was planned just like the attack on my king and the witches,” Kieran told him.Austin knew about the attack on the witches as if happened when they were all in Africa and the witch accused Shannon of the attack. However, he did not know about the attack on vampires. “When were the vampires attacked?” he asked trying to think of any reason his pack would be attacked.“A week ago, and I have a feeling that all these attacks are related.” Kieran told him “You are an elder, don’t you have any idea who could be behind this?” asked Austin hopeful that he might know what is going on. “I have not been with the council since we came back, when I wanted
