Chapter 11

I opened my eyes when I heard the door latch. Instead of Sasha coming up the stairs I found a note he wrote on the pillow next to me.‘Gone for a run. Be back soon, don’t leave’ followed by 11 numbers. I’ve always assumed every country followed the same phone number pattern but maybe Russia was different and this was his phone number. I looked at the clock and saw that it was only 5 am. I shook my head. ‘Crazy man’ I muttered. I held the note in my hand and closed my eyes.

Chapter 12

Avery P.O.V.I’m by myself again when I wake up. Memories of the night before come back to me and I long for Sasha’s touch. He was so thoughtful and tender with me. Chris had never paid attention to my needs in bed and I had no idea how great sex could feel. I felt the tears well up in my eye as I realized how horrible Chris was for me, and

Chapter 13 - Venice

There was a knock at the door. I rolled over to wake Sasha to bully him into answering the door, but of course he was gone. I grumpily pulled on last night’s jeans and answered the door. Marshall looked momentarily startled at my sleepy appearance but regained his composure quickly. ‘I’m really sorry to bother you’

Chapter 14 - Croatia

I was really looking forward to Croatia, our accommodation was in a hotel on a resort along the Adriatic sea. I longed to just sit and relax on the beach with no plans for a few days. When we got to our room, Sasha and I discovered that Dmitry had the same room as us. We returned to the lobby to talk to Isabella about it and she informed us that one of the girls had dropped out of the tour and that a room with a female had opened up for me. She handed me the key to my room which was in a different block from Sasha’s altogether. Shocked and confused, Sasha went over to talk to Lyosha about it, but as luck would have it, no other accommodation was available at the moment. Dmitry offered for me to stay with them, but I politely declined and headed to my own room.

Chapter 15

I heard Sasha and Dmitry whispering early in the morning. They both looked at me surprised when I announced I would be going with them for their run. I ran over to my room to get dressed and met up with Misha who had stayed behind to wait for me. ‘You don’t have to stay with me Misha’

Chapter 16 - Munich, Germany

Sasha sheepishly admitted that he wasn’t going to be around while in Germany as Dmitry, Misha and him had gotten tickets to a 4 days metal concert and were only going to meet up with us in Berlin. He apologized profusely for the lack of foresight in getting an extra ticket for me. I was disappointed he wasn’t going to be around for a few days, but I seriously doubted I would feel comfortable in the middle of a metal mosh pit. I thanked him for his concern but assured him I would still have a good time with my new friends.‘I’ll see you in a few days, Malyshka,’ he said kissing me. ‘Please be good and try not to attract too much trouble’. He said with a lopsided grin. Dmitry called out to him and with a last hug, Sasha made his way over to his friends. He waved at me from the car as an

Chapter 17 - Prague

‘Urgh,’ I groaned as all of our alarms went off, ‘I need to stop drinking so much’. My stomach churned and a wave of nausea hit me. I closed my eyes for a second and the nausea passed. We packed our things for the bus ride to Prague, just what I needed, another bus ride while I was feeling like crap. Darcie and Ruth were packed first and made their way to the bus leaving Julie and I alone.‘Aves’ she started grabbing my attention, ‘what happened with Marshall last night’. I frowned

Chapter 18 - Berlin, Germany

I was excited to be going to Berlin to see Sasha again. He had not replied to a single one of my texts since he left and I was a little annoyed with him.During the 4 hour drive on the coach, Marshall announced that he had secured us a spot at one of Berlin’s most prestigious clubs. I was rooming with Ruth again and as soon as we ditched our bags, the four of us hit the boutiques in search of the perfect club attire. I admit I had spent a lot more than I normally would but I had this desire to impress Sasha whom I missed very much.

Chapter 19

Ruth hadn't come back. I was worried about my friend, but I was sure Marshall and Isabella would have made sure we all made it back safe and sound. I ordered breakfast through room service, then took a quick shower. I was in desperate need of finding a laundromat. I sniffed my clothes and decided on a long skirt and white t-shirt. I didn't have clean underwear so went without. At 10, I made my way down to the lobby for the tour I had signed up for.

Chapter 20

Sasha POVI was ecstatic that Avery accepted my apology and opened up to me. I’m even more ecstatic that she was lying in my arms right then. I had bared my deepest fears to her in hopes that she would understand why I acted the way I did. I could tell my actions had hurt her and I hated myself for it. I resolved then to keep a lid on my jealousy. I knew it would prove to be hard because Avery attracted all sorts of attention from everyone that met her. At first glance I have to admit she only slightly interested me, but everyday someone mentioned her name and my interest in
