All Chapters of Mr. Dechart: Chapter 11 - Chapter 20

So I decided not to tell my family about all of the weird things that's been happening with me. I don't want them to be worried. I know it's stupid but I don't want them to get hurt. We're in the car, on our way to the mall and I've been trying to call dad. I can't help but think that somethings wrong. He hasn't called or texted back to any of us. Uncle Mike has said we should fly back to see what's going on with dad but uncle Brody has said that it's his duty, along with my other uncles, that they keep Hunter and I safe. 

I stared up at the devil and the devil stared back at me. "What do you want from me?" I ask. Austin clears his throat before getting up out of his seat and walking around his desk. I move away

It's been four weeks since we've lost her. Our babygirl. She was taken from us under our watch. None of us slept, ate, or even went to work for a whole week. Hunter stayed in his room, drinking half the time, and spent the other half throwing up. James spent his time hooking up with different women and staying out all night. Brody spent his time crying in his room with the door locked and I spent my time driving... just driving. All I could do was drive. 

As I started walking over to Alyssa, I could see her eyes following my every movement. Not looking away. She was scared, I admit that. But I could sense that she was ready for whatever I was ready to bring. When I finally got up to her, I slowly put my hand onto her face and she jumped before relaxing into my grip. No doubt scared that I will hit her again like I did before. 

As I stared into Austin's eyes, I see nothing but darkness. I'm confused. What is he talking about? A tunnel in the restaurant? My silence must have ticked him off because I'm the blink of an eye, he got up off the bed and slapped me.
