I held the dress up against my body, already loving the feel of it. The dress was strapless, the bust was black that shone in the light. It had one shoulder, but the shoulder was the same as the flowy satin green skirt. The dress had a huge split on one side, the rest of the skirt was long, and it had a slight train. My eyes fell on two smaller boxes, one was creamish in colour and the other one was pink in colour. I first opened the creamish box and found a small chain and a bracelet in it. The chain was delicate, and I was scared that it would break in my hands, but surprisingly it was strong too. The bracelet was a simple silver bracelet with a small stone in the centre. I just hoped that it wasn’t a real stone. I opened the next box and gasped. I could feel the heat rushing to my face and turning it bright right. I wait for a minute or two for someone to open the door. Usually, I would have done it, but I didn’t really know where to go, and a part of me was scared of what was out there. I politely smile at the people while Gabrielle leads me further into the hall. The hall was so huge that it made even a crowd like this look small. I wanted to duck my head, but wherever we went, I could feel the stares in my back. The stares weren’t much directed at me but at Gabrielle. Gabrielle has been talking to this group of people for so long now. Not even ten minutes into the conversation, and I found myself zoning out. There was a lot of talk about money, deals and statistics. Yes, I could understand some of it; I had done a short online course on accounts a year back.
