Over the next couple of weeks, Amaya and Felipe spent every day together. Now that there were no more threats that they knew of, she didn't need Pierre. Plus, Felipe's bodyguard, Sergio, arrived. Sergio was also an ex-pirate. She knew no matter what though, she'd always have Chloe and Pierre. She felt comforted by that. Right now, she was enjoying time with Felipe. They had grown close. Due to Louis's arranged marriage, they were friends again. Everything was going great. Then, Pierre came back. Jacob was dead but, Enzo managed to escape from Antonio. Chloe and Pierre got up when Lady Violet did. Lady Violet hugged her daughter and cried. She was very happy for Amaya because she could see the happiness on her face, but she was frightened. The last time her daughter was engaged to a Spanish Prince, she died. Hopefully, Amaya and Felipe would be very happy. Chloe also hugged Amaya and Pierre congratulate Felipe.  Felipe was in the best mood he'd ever been in and he hoped it would never change. When they all sat down after tears of joy were shed, Lady Violet asked Amaya if she had told Felipe about the plans.

Felipe went downstairs and into the study. They heard Lord Simon ask him if Amaya had said yes and when he said she did, George yelled louder and Pierre now protected both Lord Simon and Felipe. Felipe had told Lord Simon that Lady Violet told him what was going on and he said that it would be his honor to accept Lord Simon's offer. Only out of respect for Amaya. It was settled in Lord Simon's head that George would either accept the deal or leave the company. Which one he choose, Lord Simon didn't really care. George did choose to stay; some money was better than no money. After George left, Lord Simon turned to Felipe.
