 Everything felt better with knowing that she felt that way for Garett for the rest of the day. Though he wasn’t a good cook, he made breakfast and hoped it was okay for her to at least start their day. He made a point to learn how to cook something better for her. Almost every thought he was having had her at the center of it. He had to catch himself a few times at stopping himself from asking her what he could do to make things better in the house.  “I will let that one slide for now.” She said as she looked at him.“Good.” He said as he continued to drive. “I don’t want to start a fight right now, but just think about that one for a minute. If you want to stay, you will want to change some things around, and I am fine with that.”

 The ride to the house was quiet. She held the bear to herself, and he had her hand for almost the entire drive. He didn’t want to overload her, but he knew that she needed something to help ground her as she dealt with the things swirling around in her head. He hoped that maybe she would get a few of the answers that she needed, and she would begin the hard process of healing.
