            Elise walked down the hallway alone. She was going to the gym armed with her books and school backpack. She wore her white short skirts and white printed, thin, long sleeves and white sneakers. She glanced at her watch she wore on her left wrist and stopped dead when she felt someone coming to her out of the blue before she could turn into a corner.             Her heart thumped so hard in her chest when he smiled at her. Then, she saw her brother coming right up behind him.

It was already mid-afternoon. Elise thought her finals went well. She was gathering her things and was starting out of the room after everybody had already left.“Goodbye, Mrs. Dickson!” she bade to her Algebra teacher before leaving the classroom.Her teacher just looked up and smiled at her.

           Saturday, 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the day when the Wisconsin Football High School Championship was set and everyone in their team could not seem to breathe. The air seemed to thicken as everyone was on edge. This would be the first time that the school’s cheerleading team would showcase their newly accomplished routine.“It’s our field. Nothing could go wrong,” Eric said encouragingly to his teammates while they were in the dressing room.

The Belmont Braves bus stopped at the gate of their school. Everyone sighed when they got off the bus. They were back to reality after the summer camp, which was held for only a month. They were all exhausted and wanted to go home right away. They all knew that they had to practice again next week.
