The clean, fresh smell of his body flooded her nostrils, and she could hear the light sounds of his breathing. Sally found it even harder to fall asleep. She fidgeted in his arms. “Stop that.” The man wrinkled his brows as he spoke in a low voice. “I can’t sleep,” She pouted, feeling aggrieved. “Close your eyes, and you’ll fall asleep.” She shut her eyes, but said mischievously, “I’ve shut them, but I still can’t fall asleep.” He laughed lightly as he lay a kiss on her lips. “Be good, and you’ll fall asleep soon.” It was quiet inside the bedroom. The bright moonlight cast through the window, stretching the shadows of the things inside the bedroom. Even with her eyes shut, Sally still could not fall asleep. In the end, she gave up and opened her eyes. The man’s features seemed even more defined under the moonlight. She felt her attention drifting as she gazed at him. After a while, she jolted back to her senses and smacked herself lightly across the face.
