The days leading up to the engagement party were everything Trinity had expected them to be and much more. The sudden interest in her was almost bewildering and she felt as if she'd become a mini celebrity all her own if the way she received mails from people she didn't know or knew and hadn't talked to in ages was anything to go by.Of course, Tina helped her jog her memory as to who the people congratulating her on her fast approaching wedding were so she could reply appropriately but it was all still pretty overwhelming to her. After the revelations on the night of the engagement party, it felt as if some invisible wall had been broken down between Dmitri and Trinity for they felt that much closer to each other, almost as if they understood each other on a much deeper level than before.  It went against the whole I-need-to-distance-myself-from-Dmitri resolve Trinity had thought she would follow ever since the last party they'd attended together.
