Chapter Sixty.

At least if there was one thing she wasn't lying about, it was that she didn't wanted to loose her friend. I definitely understood what she meant, and never would I allow her to loose a dear one, just as I'd did."Okay. So, let us say that I believe what you're saying, how exactly are we supposed to help this friend of yours? I asked."I don't know!" Her voice went off and she instantiated turned her back, as if she was crying and she didn't wanted me to notice. "I don't know exactly." She said, then finally returned her face to meet mine. "That is why I'd like to meet you, to talk to you. You're somehow the cure. That's all I know." She said it was all she knew, as if she was supposed to know more than that. I secretly wondered if she was a small goddess in disguise."What do you mean, all you know?" She paused and flashed a puzzled awkwardly looking glance at me. "I'm listening.""I don't really know, bu

Chapter sixty one

When my eyes opened again, I found myself at the gates of Talot. Just where I'd set off for my quest. The sound of a horse's neigh, nickered behind me, and I turned to observe my companion behind me. If I could have understood horses language, I would have heard something like; "hey your Highness! We're back. Alive!" Or something close to that. "Dieeee!!!" A voice drawled from behind, and I almost laughed at the poor threat of commanding me to die, but changed my mind on the sight of the image. It's sickly white eyes were the first thing I observed. Then the disgusting snake things that crawled out from the head, and the blued chapped lips; I recognized it immediately. The septics. "Stay back!" I yelled at it as it crawled forward, thinking it woul

Chapter Sixty two.

My day started quite normal, if I might say so. Almost as normal as the previous ones, even too normal as of fact. Living in this changing canvass of weather andfoliage, of birdsong and playful wind, even the subtle shifted in light, patterns brought interest for the eye. The weather had been so warm in the past recent days, the air so velvety on the skin that I had began to imagine what life on paradise would have felt like. Clouds drifted by on the most relaxed of breezes, helping the eyes to appreciate the bluebird sky all the more. The rain, when it came, alighted as softlyas the shoes of a ballet dancer, adorning and rejuvenating the only stage that matters. Almost as if some heavenly divine creature had sprinkled down some magic powder to sooth the village and pardon with a not of relief as to the plague and other misfortune that had tragically struck. It was a spa from the time the light filters over the hills until it too takes its rest

Chapter Sixty seven

Tell me if a person falls apart alone in the dark, does it make any sound? And let's say it does,is it as loud and devastating as a decaying broken heart when it's finally found? Or is the sound a soft strangulation hidden that we all miss the time behind words like 'I'm fine'?Nila had mention earlier that Tara's necklace just fell on the floor and she didn't wanted to return it yet because she was afraid of how I'd react."I found it, and I knew I should have rightfully returned it but.. I'm sorry Kerik. You just weren't in a stabilized form to have received it yet"Maybe she was right after all. Tara meant the whole world to me and she still does. My only motivation for living.   My best dreams and worst nightmares had the same people in it. I knew that from day one, but sometimes when you're desperate and you don't care  – the devil recognises your soul the most.  "Your sister?" The words came out without any backups. Nila only nodded to my question, burying her face down to avoid further questions.  "Well nice to hear but we don't have time for family reunion here." Kedar stepped forward cutting in between Nila and I. "Pendragon sent you to us, didn't she?" She was ready to talk business and I was glad for that. "Yes." I replied. "I need to find my sister." I added immediately. "Firstly, when was the last time you had a bath?" She eyed me from head to toes as her question pierced me like a sharp nail. She was right. I glanced down on what was supposed to look like a sandal and trust me, you do not want to see what I saw. I
