Hideyoshi led me to the infirmary within the castle. He said it was urgent and I needed to be there. My heart was about to jump out of my chest because it was beating so fast. I don’t know what to expect when I open the doors but I know it’s something not good. When I slid open the doors, I saw Nobunaga standing by the two boys. They all looked at me as soon as I walked in. Nobunaga immediately went to me and held my hands. I wanted to ask questions but before I could, he led me to where the doctor was. Laying on the bed was my youngest son, Nobutaka. He was bleeding profusely and the doctor was doing everything they could to stop him from dying. “What happened?” I asked. My brain was in panic mode and I couldn’t control myself. I wanted to lay down next to him but Nobunaga stopped me. He told me to let the doctor do his job. The soldiers and troops could see the dynamic between the Oda forces and the Tokugawa forces. Despite their long-time hostility throughout history, both Nobunaga and Ieyasu were able to fight together without getting into an internal conflict. Not many people know of what happened between Ieyasu and Nobunaga and how their alliance came to be, however the people cannot deny how great the both of them work together.

When we took back Mino, Nobunaga had instructed Hideyoshi to rebuild the castle. In my memory, I remember clearly how the Gifu castle looked like. I was lucky enough to get a chance to visit the said castle back in my time. Who would've thought that I would be able to see the Gifu Castle when it was first restored. "Would you like to visit the castle?" Nobunaga asked me. I quickly agreed and accepted his offer. I would definitely want to see it after all this time. Nobunaga and I traveled to Mino where the Gifu Castle was. Hideyoshi did a good job restoring the castle and now it's almost complete. The men who were under the previous daimyo had deflected and pledged their allegiance to the Oda forces. Nobunaga stationed them at the Gifu Castle as guards and as a reserve army. "We're nearing the castle." Nobunaga told me. We were riding a horse when I saw the castle in the distance. I got excited when I had my first glimpse of Gifu Castle. It was magnificent.
