Nick and Natalie were unaware of the fact that Zieve's drink was spiked and he had sent his blood samples for testing it. It was only Joe, George and Morgan who had seen that guy from one of their partner lab with Zieve and questioned him about it, so, Zieve had to reveal to them that he suspected that his drink was spiked and he wanted to confirm his doubt. Nick's reaction was unexpected for everyone except Fuoco. She had expected his objection to it but not like this in front if everyone. She knew that as he knew her truth he would never allow her to take any risk, but she never expected him to react openly like this infront of everyone. He was not being able to contact Shera. He was not being able to tell anything to Zieve, and moreover, he was not sure if he should tell Fuoco about Shera and all the efforts they have been putting in for bringing justice

Fuoco wanted to say "yes" to that she would mind. She wanted to make an excuse and escape but.... she could choose for an escape at that moment, it was temporary solution not a permanent one.
