That was because they were both library assistants during the morning, from 7 AM until 11:30 AM. Rachel was also the one who had the keys to the library so she was obligated to go there early.

Well, glad to see you have come back for more my dear reader... In the last episode, Chris, along with his girlfriend Rachel, and her best friend Devin were talking about Mike's gang's drinking session that ended with a ghost sighting. Too bad none of them seem to want to talk about what happened to Rachel's scary incident involving a bleeding bust of the Virgin Mary. Let's not keep you in too much suspense since we can now continue to watch them as they try to clear their heads, distract themselves, and feel some sort of comfort from their temporary state of denial...

Our narrator then took some time off because he was busy with school work.
