Soon, Chris' project was off and the launching was on. Starr hadn't wanted to go to the launch party, since she hasn't since Chris since he walked out of her apartment. She had told herself that she was fine and didn't need a man to be happy, but whenever she stayed at home, her mind alway managed to linger to him whenever she saw any spot he had stood or stayed before in her house. “He had better not,” Starr had said with a frown, lifting her legs up to put on the chair, getting a bit comfortable. Sorcha noticed how relaxed and comfortable she had gotten, and that made her feel lighter, like some burden had been taken off her.
