The six of them - Eallric, Oswic, Noelle, Riyen, Gauwilh and Artin waved their hands to and fro trying to drive away the vultures that swooped down on them in large numbers, threatening to chop off every part of their body.As they dashed away from the tower from where the winged scavengers had nosedived on them from, Eallric couldn't push out what he'd seen. Mr. Wadsev who'd supposedly vanished, with his wives and everyone present for his promotion to CEO - a total of Seventeen individuals at his address at Radford glade, were present there - in hell. Mr. Wadsev's once chubby face was flaccid and dangling, making him look like a tamed bulldog. The most shocking part for Eallric, though, was what Mr. Wadsev had mouthed when Eallric stole a glance at him.“Help.”Mr. Wadsev's faint voice uttered feebly and with absolutely no enthusiasm due to loss of blood and insufficient energy. Eallric, thou

The tyronimic howled loudly into the dark, atmosphere - which only attracted the attention of beasts of other species that ululated, wailed and yowled their response in return, making the atmosphere more mysterious and unearthly. The tyronimic turned its four ugly heads slowly left and right, scanning the cheerless horizon but seeing other creatures - Yellow, glowing eyed Yalipers, Yaghions with detachable body parts and other strange creatures. They were not of interest so the tyronimic didn't turn as much as a horn to them as it searched desperately for where its preys had gone all of a sudden. The six of them, though, - Eallric, Artin (who was badly bruised), Noelle, Gauwilh, a still numb Riyen and Sir. Oswic squeezed themselves together in the cave to induce warmth that heated up their organs for the cave was glacial, barely daring to breath. The tyronimic prowled round the cave whose darkness shielded them with obscurity

In all of Sir. Oswic's life as an Enchanter - a wizard, precisely, ‘Invocasi Repelleos’ which caused neon blue and green streamlined energy that had been interlaced with one another, giving the viewers a cinematic view, shot out of wands. The severity with which it was pronounced usually determined how far and sometimes, how potent it was, too. It was one of the most puissant spells ever, capable of knocking down a raging lion away just as easy as one flicking a troublesome insect away with his fingers, and that was why it came as an astounding shock to Sir. Oswic when the thrilling energy that came with voicing out the spell had almost no effect on the tyronimic that was still charging towards him but now at an increased pace.Sir. Oswic didn't know what to do but the tyronimic did, it had to eat and that was what it was getting to.In the very last second, Sir. Oswic resolved to the only option he had to save himself - and

Silence fell upon the members of the Chamber of Duties that included the blue-eyed baldie, the expectant mother, the brown haired man whose nose extended like an hand fan - keeping his brown moustache in obscurity, Eallric Hancey of the Police Department, Wene Noelle from Ciburrh, Artin Dane - the leader of the Unity Board, Riyen Gosbald; the grand daughter of an ex leader of the board, Seignor Godbald, Gauwilh Chames - an endorsed attorney of the Eventide Shore Law Firm, spiteful Troef’ny Uthane and other random members who had nothing peculiar.Cwena Engow was quiet, too. They all waited with hearts racing and brains receptive to chaos from a creature they knew not. Sir. Oswic - with a bleeding leg that had spread a warm, red liquid that covered more than half the entire ground, stood at the front of them all - a few metres, waiting for a howl or a three headed beast to jump into the alley. But, nothing.

Twenty Four

The sound of the crushed can of a drink perforated the atmosphere as air squeezed out of it like a deflated hot-air balloon hissing softly into the dreary world. Whoever it was that had squashed it had done it mistakenly, there was no doubt about that.Another clamor uproared like tigers brawling for a mate starting with a grumble then growing to become something more. The sound multiplied in intensity then like thunder that had been rolling in the sky towards them, its stentorian noise struck above them, causing them to tremble and their knees turning to wet noodles. They all gathered round, Sir. Oswic ahead and leading them to the entrance of the Chamber of Duties. A deafening silence had sprouted among them as they walked over remains and carcasses, stiff shiny skeletons and carrions of dead guards. It was hard to believe that just a few hours ago, they were all alive, hale and hearty, going about their bus

The next couple of days were chaotic and anarchic in all the provinces of Wabrook - the most shammed being Ingfalls, closely followed by Ledale.Tyronimics of different sizes and varying grades of calamity roamed the streets, running into buildings and causing them to crumble. Duchess Route, College Passage and Vermilion avenue; all in Ingfalls, were the most affected for they were the most populated places which attracted more tyronimics than others.Schools - public and private, great and small, were either demolished to powder by the tyronimics or were shut down for the fear of their students getting bruised, or killed, on their way to school. Shops and malls closed, too. The daring ones among them, though, stuck to the curfew the minister of Ingfalls, Travote Psukil, had placed.Federal Banks closed, too. Privately owned and managed banks, though, had its workers sneaking in to work - going through their re

Inspector Eallric was still half-hearted and unsure, infirm, undecided and somewhat erratic about allowing Gerey fight the tyronimics; the Saviour of the world - or even train at all for the battle or more precisely, warfare. After seeing how brutal the tyronimics were, harbouring the dejection, gloom and misery that Gerey was dead at some point, and also, having gone to the root, the source and start of all the problems, too - which he kept from Gerey and Aunt Brione, Eallric thought it was the best decision to send him with Brione to Ledale - which was affected less by the tyronimics. At least, that was what he wanted to believe but deep down, there was more and it had to do with Lene Woodye - the perfect NCU TV reporter.**The sun unfurled and spread its much welcomed warmth that Sunday like the ripple of a drop of water landing in a vast, blue ocean and spreading to the fancy shores and cocon

Twenty Seven

A young girl of seventeen with flaxen hair that lightened up and radiated with the evening sun that casted a vintage-like filter all around from the black tarred asphalts to the ever-noisy CD shop that was directly converse to their home, ushered Eallric, Brione and Gerey in.She had a Cherry Red and Emerald Green Evening gown that hugged her shoulder and embraced her petite frame down to her waist before enlarging and flourishing like an umbrella. She looked like a tall and beautiful Christmas elf as the colours of her frock sparkled and her well groomed mannerisms made her astonishing. It was Cwena. As they stepped into the neat compound that smelled of the wet, chocolaty soil with a little flava of homemade honey, Trosheare came out; bubbly, full of life, with her blonde hair that gleamed and appeared more glorious than Cwena's, and with bright red blushed on her fleshy cheeks.“Eallric? Brione?” She s

It was almost as if life had gone back to normal. Darkness crept in that Sunday night and with it a mild chill as the moon dangled in the sky; a miscellany of milky white and pale blue, encompassed with silvery stars.Crickets carolled in their chappy voice seeking mates. Millipedes and centipedes built small holes that they snuck in to keep themselves warm and in the morning, when they were out to go about their business - which was primarily being a marvel to school kids, birds of the sky and fowls of the Earth had them for breakfast.Rabbits hopped around with the bushy tails, feeding on Conifer needles, twigs, buds, wildflowers and greenplants whilst hoping and taking glances at the bright blue sky which was getting brighter as the sun emerged, that no hawk swooped down on them.Even those living on No. 3, Atholl Esplanade weren't left out of the Sunday miracle which hopefully, will extend all through Monday and

Twenty Nine

As Eallric knocked on the iron gate that had a couple of black, gleaming tridents separated from each other by few inches at its top - to forestall petty burglars that might want to climb over the gate and into the institute's vicinity, the husky gate let out a soft cry like a hawk's chirrup from afar, and opened a little, giving way for Eallric to go in whilst slightly revealing a polished ground that had a dull white hue and about fifty metres from it, one of the two buildings of the Calgibrie Forensic Pathology Institute.Eallric cautiously stepped through the gates and into its vicinity. It was empty - at least, from the outside. The two buildings which were about the same size, both with a creamy hue - elegantly modelled, thoroughly ornamented and about three storeys each with cloud-blue spiky decors cutting up their edge from up to down, stood side by side from the other like two celebrities that had worked their way to stardom, meeting each other
