   Vince rarely  sleeps but this time he was exhausted,  for the past two weeks, he hadn't taken care of himself  between  looking for his sister and the primordials meeting  and putting everything  in place, he knew that he should  stay awake  to watch over his mate since they were in unfamiliar  territory  but his eyes were heavy and he wanted to sleep.  After all  she was already asleep  so all he had to do was stay besides her.       He didn't  know  she was missing until he felt the terror coming into his mind through the psychic bond,  he stood up and pulled up his trousers  as he glanced  around confused,  Gwen was not in the room and when the feeling continue  to come through  the bond.&nb

  A few hours  later.  Everybody was gathered in the conference  room for the meeting,  everybody but Gwen.  Vince was certainly  not going to allow them to near his mate anytime soon and if he had his way,  he would teleport her back to his mansion, what made him think that she was safe wherever he is.  She was attacked while he was in the house and he knew that he would never  forgive himself for that for as long as he lives.  He also knew that the reason why he mainly kept Gwen away from the meeting was because  he wanted to protect her.  There are people who were not happy with the fact that he had seen his mate.  If the expression  of the wolves were anything to go by,  it meant that none of them was happy  with the  fact that he was mated  and he refuse to make Gwen stay in their presence
