Chapter Twenty

“I, I did.” Lola answered. Her eyes were drawn to the fingers that Puca ran over Merrow’s chest and the way the other moan bit his lip. He was still asleep, but she couldn’t help but notice the way the sheets tented with his arousal. “Wait, is, is, is Merrow naked?”“Why don’t you come closer and find out?” Puca said, his hand trailing lower, tracing well-defined abs. Merrow huskily whimpered her name with a soft moan. Moving his hand beneath the sheet. Puca watched her, the way her gaze hooded as her eyes gleamed in the morning sunlight. Glued to the way his hand stroked Merrow, the sheet blocking her view. He bucked his hips up to grind his erection into the hand that squeezed him. Lola worried her lower lip as she watched Puca’s smirk deepen into a grin as his hand gripped the other man. Fisting his cock, working his lovers member faster. Making a moan slip from Merrow’s lips. “I think I’d be safer over here.” Lola said with a gulp as she backed up, trying to put more distanc

Chapter Twenty One

Lola breezed into the shop, the lingering scent of fresh cookies and books filling her senses making her mouth water. It made her feel warm and fuzzy. It was the smell she associated with Erik. “Erik, are you in?” She called out. The sign on the door had said he was closed. Lola knew he usually didn’t flip the sign to open until after lunch on Sundays.“In here.”Following the delicious aroma Lola walked into the kitchen, she paused when she saw him. Taking in the fact that he had pressed his slacks and he wore a button-up shirt. The sleeves folded up to his elbows, revealing surprisingly muscular arms. She was right, this tea was a date. She was glad she had dressed up and put on some lipstick and mascara. “Good morning, Lola.” He said, glancing up as he picked up the tea set, taking in her floral skirt and pink tank top. The light makeup she had on only added to her beauty. “I thought we could have tea on the back porch since it’s a lovely morning.”“I’ll get the door for you.”

Chapter Twenty-Two

“Yes.” Lola whispered.Erik leaned forward, his lips hovering over hers and she sucked in a breath, his scent filling her sense as she closed her eyes. His lips pressed against hers, gentle but firm and warm. Erik’s thumbs stroked over her wrist as he trailed his hand up her arm. Lola waited for the feelings to move through her. For goosebumps to pop up as he put a hand on the back of her neck, holding her in place as his lips moved against hers and she responded. The other taking the teacup from her hands and placing it on the wicker table. Lola moved closer, twisting her legs to the side as he tried to deepen the kiss. Her lips parted with a sigh as his hand moved to her side. Pulling her closer as his tongue touched against hers.Erik’s thumb brushed against the side of her breast and she felt her nipple harden. Lola gasped at the feeling. It wasn’t the same as it was with the fae men. The kiss with Erik was nice, almost like putting on your favorite sweater. Comforting, soothi

Chapter Twenty-Three

Lola looked down at the address worrying, her lower lip. This was going to be a drive, and she wasn’t looking forward to it. Being trapped in such a small space with Merrow for that time had her nerves on edge.“Are you ready?” Merrow asked as he leaned against the door frame, his eyes drinking her in. Making her shiver at the thought of being alone with him.“Yeah, it looks like I’ll be driving. I think you’ll enjoy it though.” Lola said with a sigh as she leaned over, pulling out her cell phone to type in the address.“Why is that, ghra?” Merrow said as he bit his lower lip, crossing his arms over her chest to keep from going closer and touching her. “We’ll be going in a car and I’ve yet to meet a man that doesn’t love to ride in my jeep.” “I don’t know what that means, but I do look forward to spending time alone with you.” Merrow said, his voice husky as he watched the way her legs moved when she crossed them. Glancing up, Lola looked at him. His eyes glued to her bare legs.

Chapter Twenty-Four

“What is that?” Merrow asked as he walked closer. He looked from Lola back to the strange unmoving brightly colored object.“It’s my jeep.” Lola said pressing the button on the key fob making the lights flash as the doors unlocked. Merrow jump at the sound. “We are expected to ride in there?” Merrow asked as he glanced at Lola.“You can stay home if you’d like.” Lola bit her lip as she glanced up at him, “I could always ask Puca to come with me.”“Nay, he and I agreed already.”“What do you mean?” Lola asked as she opened the door and slid into the jeep.“Just that if the time comes to lay with you, I should take it.” Merrow said as he watched Lola start the massive beast that she called a jeep.“Good to know that I won’t be causing problems between the two of you.” She said before closing the door. Rolling down her window, she smiled at him. “Are you coming?”She watched Merrow study the vehicle before he stepped closer, “How do I get inside?”Lola leaned over to the passenger side

Chapter Twenty-Five

Shifting uncomfortably in her seat, Lola glanced over at Merrow. Her cheeks heating up as she thought about what they had done earlier. How his tongue had darted out, lapping at his fingers afterwards. How his eyes had slipped closed as he savored the taste of her. Making her shiver. She glanced over at him again as he watched the water come into view. “The ocean.” Merrow breathed out before turning bright eyes towards her. “I thought you might like to see it. After I pick up this package, maybe we could have lunch on the beach? Or go for a quick walk?” “Thank you, ghra.” Merrow whispered as he grabbed Lola’s hand in his. Weaving their fingers together. He brought it up to his lips, pressing them softly on the back of her hand. Lola looked back at the road as he stroked his thumb over hers, &ldqu

Chapter Twenty-Six

Hand in hand, Merrow and Lola walked along the beach. Lunch had been fun, if not rushed with Merrow’s excitement to get back to the water. Lola could understand. It was a beautiful day as the sun beat down on them, making sweat trickle down her back even with the cool breeze. She wished she had thought to grab her swimsuit. Or to grab Merrow a pair of swim trunks. It would have saved her a bit of embarrassment.   Merrow stopped their casual stroll and looked out towards the water. Pulling his hand from hers. Lola blushed as she watched him toss his shirt into the sand. He had started to undress earlier. She’d stopped him as he unbuttoned his shorts. Much to her disappointment. Granted, by the shops where they had been walking, there weren’t that many people about.  But there were still enough to call the police if he had stripped naked and jumped into

Chapter Twenty-Seven

“Get out of her things.” Puca chided as he walked into Lola’s room and flopped onto her bed. Bodach was lying sprawled on her bed as he watched Lu. He turned to glare at Puca before looking back towards Lu. Lu, who was currently in her closet looking at the bookshelf above her clothing. His eyes taking in the shiny restraints, he bit his lip. His cheeks flushing a bright crimson stain as he thought about Lola being bound. That was more of Bodach’s thing, he’d never really been interested in tying a partner down. There was plenty of fun to be had without that. Stepping further into the closet, he let out a groan of pain as his toe found the sharp metal edge of a wooden chest. “Gabhdán.” Lu bit out. Hopping on one foot as he brought the injured foot up and rubbed his toe, checking the damage. When he realized he

Chapter Twenty-Eight

“Merrow, Merrow.” She softly called his name, he looked up smiling at her. She always looked so beautiful when the sun shone through her hair like that.   It looked like white, silken webs. Her face glowed as she smiled down at him, her fingers brushing over his face. “I’ve missed you.”   “And I you, deartháir.” She whispered as she pushed his hair away from his face and he moved, pressing his ear against her swollen stomach. Feeling the soft flutters of the life that grew within her. “I just want to hear his heart.” “You can’t though, it’s time to go back now.” The woman said, as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.   “I’ll miss you.” “And I you, dearthair.&

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Heart hammering in her chest. Lola pushed open the door to the apartment with Merrow practically glued to her side.  The ride hadn’t been as fun on the way home. Her eyes and body ached. “Can you back up a little?” She asked with a glare. Her head was throbbing, and she wanted to crawl into bed. Burrow beneath the covers and fall into a deep sleep. Maybe then her headache would be gone, or at least not nearly as bad. “I can’t help but worry about you.” Merrow said as he stepped into the room behind Lola. He wasn’t trying to hover. It couldn’t be helped. He knew that she wasn’t feeling well by the way her shoulders had slumped, the way she had rubbed her eyes after she had parked the vehicle.   “That’s fine, you can worry, but I need some space.” Lola said dropping her bag and shoes as she moved to
