In the next second, Ethan suddenly stood up. He seemed to have forgotten the ongoing call as he turned around and ran toward the morgue.

He dashed along the hospital corridor, bumping into things as he went. He couldn't be bothered about the gazes of everyone around him.

Sophia's face turned pale. She had overheard the victim's identity, which Ethan's assistant had just reported. With all her might, she hurried toward the hospital.

The truth was about to come to light, so of course, she would panic. She was the culprit, after all.

At that moment, Ethan had lost his usual calmness. With shaking hands, he painstakingly moved my corpse back onto the autopsy table.

He was in a frenzy as he searched for traces on the corpse to prove that this corpse wasn't me.

What could he possibly find?
