The strong Albaricano coffee was slightly bitter, yet its rich aftertone kept lingering on my tongue the whole time.

I raised my head to look at Ramona. She wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses and had her hair styled properly without a strand out of place. At the moment she looked extremely smug and ambitious.

To me, ambition wasn't a bad thing to have. In fact, ambitious people were often bold enough to work hard for what they wanted.

However, if one chose to ascend in ranks by sabotaging others, their ambitiousness would be warped entirely.
