I did not want to waste too much time on him, so I brought up the viral post. “You want to talk to me about the post, right? What’s your PR strategy? I can help.”

Both of them lit up. “Really?”

Jonas paused as though to find the right words. “If you make some concessions, we can still salvage this.”

“What do you mean?”

“You just have to publicly admit you’re my ex, but we broke up ages ago. You just kept insisting because you couldn’t give up on me.”

“Sure.” I would not ask him why he would do this to me, or insult him for throwing me to the wolves, using me as his shield and scapegoat.

After all, this was what I was after.

Jonas grinned at me. “Forget one condition, you can ask for ten and I’d still fulfill them.”
