Chapter 7

The Pendragon brothers had arrived.

We were released from our binds.

Minnie and Miley were dragged toward them by the bodyguards.

Minnie saw Zagreus covering me with his arms and went ballistic. "No! I forgive you for looking for substitutes, Zagreus! I forgive you! Just stop hugging that disgusting skank!"

Miley was smarter. The Pendragons' actions spoke louder than any words. The real substitutes had always been the Stein sisters.

Miley opened her mouth, wanting to stop her sister from making things worse, but Minnie was not going to hear it. She kept screaming at Zagreus.

He looked stormier by the second. "Send them to Heaven's Night."

Miley trembled. A celebrity-turned-prostitute?! If her competitors found out about this, she would become the punchline of the industry—and of society!

"You can't do this to my sister for that… fake!" Minnie screamed, pointing at us. "They are bootlegged versions of us! How could you treat them as genuine articles?! We are your real partners!"
