Frank stared at me in disbelief, his face a mask of shock. "Teresa, are you really sick?"

Lily also chimed in, feigning concern, "Teresa seems genuinely ill, it doesn't look like she's faking!"

However, Stephen watched me coldly. "Stop the drama! This woman is quite the actress! She's probably spitting up tomato juice! Don't be fooled by her again! Let's go!"

Despite being doubtful, Frank was about to leave.

I desperately clutched at his trousers, pleading for mercy. "Dr. Turner, if you have any conscience left, please save me. Even if I am pretending, you've nothing to lose by checking. But if I die, you'll be held accountable for refusing treatment. There are cameras here, capturing everything you do."

Frank looked up and indeed spotted the camera in the corner.

His expression changed dramatically, and he quickly knelt down to examine me. "You are really sick!"

Shocked, he scooped me up and sprinted toward the emergency room.
