Chapter 5

Drake’s call broke through my reminiscing.

I dismissed it and called my secretary, Gloria Chase instead. Under my guidance, she prepared a divorce agreement for me.

Then she visited me at the hospital with the document in hand.

Nelly and her group of friends had been taken away by the police.

I got out of bed and, with Gloria's support, walked out of the hospital and made my way to the police station.

The moment Nelly saw me, she fumed. "Why aren't you arresting her instead?"

I glanced at her before walking up to the police officer.

"Hello, officer. Nelly Brook and her accomplices assaulted me, damaged my car, and destroyed my valuables worth more than two hundred million dollars.

“I want to pursue this matter thoroughly, so I appreciate your assistance."

Nelly cackled. "You liar! How could your worthless junk be worth so much? You may as well go rob a bank instead!"

One of her friends nodded in agreement. "Yeah, don't think we don't know they’re all fakes!"
