I cracked the bathroom door just enough to reach for the underwear my husband, Neal Shaw, held out. To my surprise, he pushed the door open and stepped inside, pinning me, unguarded, against the cool tiles as he kissed me fervently.

Just as he was about to go further, a familiar voice called out from outside the door.

"Honey, where are you?"

My eyes widened. If Neal was outside, then who was the man in front of me?

"You're… Daley?"

I had asked Neal for my underwear, but Daley Shaw had come instead. Daley was Neal's identical twin; they looked like they were carved from the same mold. I hadn't noticed at all. No wonder Neal, usually reserved, suddenly seemed so bold.

Daley grinned mischievously. "Maia, we're identical—does it really matter who's who?"

"Of course, it does," I replied shyly, my cheeks burning as I bit my bottom lip. "You're Neal's brother, and I'm his wife. This isn't right."

Daley leaned in close, his breath warm against my ear. "Doesn't that make it all the more exciting?"

"Honey, are you taking a shower?" Neal's voice broke through, snapping me back to reality.

"Yeah," I replied quickly. "Could you pick up some soy sauce? We're out."

"Sure," he replied, and I heard him head out.

Daley was about to pick up where we left off, but I pushed him away. "Daley, this was a mistake. Let's pretend it never happened."

He gave a casual shrug. "Maia, stop pretending. Your body was way more honest than your words. Neal hasn't been keeping you satisfied, has he? You don't even realize how wild you were just now, practically devouring me."

He gave me a lingering look. "I'll give you some time. If you change your mind, you know where to find me." Then he added a playful smack on my backside as he left, leaving me both embarrassed and furious.

I couldn't deny the truth in his words—Neal and I hadn't been intimate in half a year. He always brushed me off, saying he was too tired from work, leaving me to wonder if he was seeing someone else.

But I was a human with desire. As Daley walked away, I felt my resolve weakening.

I took another shower, scrubbing off any trace of him, and dressed before heading out. Neal had returned with the soy sauce and was chatting with Daley in the living room.

"What were you doing just now? Why are you wet?" Neal asked, glancing at Daley.

Daley shot me a knowing look, and I held my breath, fearing he'd reveal everything. But he just smiled. "The kitchen faucet was leaking. I fixed it."

Neal nodded, unsuspecting, and I let out a sigh of relief. Thank God Daley didn't tell him the truth.

I took the soy sauce from Neal and headed to the kitchen to start cooking.

While I was stir-frying, Daley came up behind me, slipping his arms around my waist. I froze, my voice catching in my throat. His large hand covered my mouth, and he pressed against me from behind.

"Maia, Neal's just in the living room. You wouldn't want him to catch us, would you?"

My heart pounded, but I stayed silent, knowing he was right.

Satisfied, Daley whispered, "See how loyal I am, keeping your little secret? Don't you think I deserve a reward?" His hand slid up my leg under my skirt.

I grabbed his wrist, alarmed. "Are you insane? Neal's right there—aren't you afraid of being caught?"

"Yeah, I'm insane, Maia. You're too hot, and it's driving me insane," he murmured, trailing kisses along my neck until Neal's footsteps neared. Only then did Daley reluctantly let me go.

I squinted and quickly realized this was an outdoor couples' drive-in theater. It was hard to believe that Neal, who was always so composed and reserved, would bring me to a place like this. He held my hand gently and said, "Don't be nervous, honey. I know I've been distant because of work, but I never meant to neglect you. Our relationship has been a little monotonous. Maybe it's time to try something new." His sincerity left me speechless. It had been so long since Neal showed this kind of initiative that I couldn't bring myself to say no.
